Wierd Engine Shuddering
Hello, I have a 99 250sd 4x4 crew 5.4l Auto w/165k. It has a bad engine shuddering all the time when accelerating thru all gears. 
I changed oil/filter, PVC, Gas filter and added MM oil to gas and oil this weekend. These actions resolved the problem last time, but not this time. Haven't changed OS(x3) yet. Any suggestions on what to check next, before I have to spend the kids college money to have someone fix it for me???

ANd another item of interest, my module for pulling codes does not work, took it to ford and they said it won't read, and did not give me a resolve, so what do I do about getting it to work, or what to check for, like fuse or wiring??

Most likely you have a bad COP and you are not running on that cylinder..Sometimes you can start a cold engine and run it for a minute or less go into the wheel well and touch the exhaust maniflold and you might be able to see which cyl isn't working. It will be cooler than the rest. You may have a bad fuse that goes to the eec plug..

SHudder gone fixed
Took it to my master mech and found it was 4 boots and several stock(165k) spark plugs. Got it back and it runs like a Jaguar. Sweet. Now to change the load **** whinning alternator lol. thks for the advise
