oh yeah it SHOULD make it, dont quote me but if i had no other truck to take i wouldent worry, might murder your mileage and cut down on your power... and it'd be a good idea to check oil often.... but you already know that. let us know how that works out!

I have already put about 100 miles on it and it doest seam to be burn oil and i havent had any other problems knock on wood i"ll but some lucas and hope it helps the mileage sucks 8 to 10 gallons to about 50 miles god i love my 300ci 4 speed ha ha
Welp, All the rage made me break down and try this SeaFoam stuff, I don't generally buy "Wonder Juices", but it's seems like every other word on 99.9% of the threads here are SeaFoam...
I will do about half a fuel filter and see how it goes!
I run 10-40 and a bottle of lucas. It clears up the smoke caused by the bad rings, but I still get a puff when I start it. I'd just try adding the lucas first, running 20-50 is pretty hard on a motor. I ran 20-50 in my 300 to slow the oil leakeage. It caused it to crank over so slow in the winter that I thought it wasn't gonna start at all. Man I can't wait to get my new motor dropped in.

I wouldn't run the Lucas. No, I don't think it would hurt anything. I just know it won't help anything. I'd try a stop leak type fluid first. I've actually seen those 'stop leaks'. Now, that won't last forever, but it's better than Lucas. Lucas has NO additives in it. And it makes your oil like a 30W-80 when you mix it with 10W-30. I used to love it until I got some VOA's of it. Literally nothing is in it that shows up in an oil analysis. It has a low flash point and is very thick. It just dilutes the add pack of the oil you choose.
So, I'd probably use some Bars stop leak, maybe? Put it in a smoking, leaking Honda before and it completely stopped the leaking/smoking for about 2-3 weeks at a time, lol. Maybe you will have better luck with it.
That's what I'd use. I don't think the stuff I used was name brand. I didn't even pick it out, but the car was a P.O.S., so I had no problem putting it in there for her, lol. I know the Bar's brand says it conditions seals, so it COULD be a little fix up. Nothing like a rebuild, but better than smoking like crazy.
