Vacuum bagging film can be bought at any fiberglass supply house or business where they sell resin, cloth, etc. I have seen it for sale on ebay (ie., 110451339128) and Craigslist as well. It is relatively cheap and it's very durable and nothing sticks to it. I am not familiar with the boat storage wrapping material but I would say that the bagging film is probably not the same stuff.

Yes, the slant cabs are easier to cut down the glass than the 56 since the curve is less severe. That's why West Coast Customs ended up doing 3 slant cabs for Stallone's movie when he first speced 56s. They cut the top on the first 56 without widening it and then couldn't get the glass to fit.
