I'm sorry crazedfox, it's been raining since Sat. and haven't had a chance to check. My Camaro SS and the wife's car stays in the garage. I can't wait to follow through with your instructions though.

Yep, we've already had words and I lost. It's suppose to rain all the way through the end of the week....YUK! If I get a chance I'll pull it in at work but I will let you know for sure..

 

I finally had a chance between rains to check this. What I did was pull the taillight out and wrapped a wire around the taillight harness terminal then screwed in back in then the other end I attached to the neg. battery post. After that I jumped between the white/purple and the black/red wire. After all this I still had no lights?????? I even jiggled the wires but didn't make no difference. I did check the voltage between the two wires and it was a low 7.9-8.5V?? I'm about to give up and take it to a shop but I would not have the gradification of fixing it myself. To me it means 10 fold if I can do something myself.

Any more ideas?

This will give me a better overview of everything.

P.S. how is the battery's voltage doing?
Is it low when you do these test's?

My voltage has always been that low when the motor is not running, when it's running it's normal.
