Whats its worth??
Hey guys,
I found a truck for sale that I really am interested in, but I'm curious what its worth. Its a 1979 F-350 4x4 Lariat with the Camper Special package. Its also got a rebuilt 460 with a rebuilt c6. The body itself only has 50,000 miles on it and is 99% rust free. Also, it has a 4 inch lift, 37 inch tires and Weld wheels. The interior is spotless and the bed looks as if its had minimal use. Just looking for a ballpark price that you guys would pay.

I wouldn't give $12,000 for something with primer spots and rust, its just barely showing but its always worse underneath. I might give around $6000 for it if its as nice as it looks. Just gotta love the 460 swap with single exhaust and a school bus muffler. These trucks just don't break the $10,000 barrier from what I have seen and this one does needs some paint. Just my opinion. I will say that it would be easy to spend $12,000 fixing up a junker to be that nice. Well I said all this about the ebay truck shown above it its not that truck I really can't say with out pics.

I agree with Pickupmanx2... FWIW, I have over $12,000 into the restoration of my truck and its' only a 2wd. It still needs paint. I could maybe get $4,000-$4,500 for it...
