64 f100
Just registered today (4-12). I've read a lot of questions & answers on forum. I'll try to make this somewhat short (maybe). I have a 64 F100 that I've owned since 1983. It hasn't run since 1989 when the 3speed heavy duty trans hung up between shifts. My question is will a C6 tranny bolt up to this 292? I would also upgrade to a 4V & duel exhaust from engine on out. The body on the truck is in excellent shape other than paint fading & some surface rust, NO Cancer at all. I look forward to any suggestions. This truck has set to long & we are both getting old. Thanks

You may have some luck with finding an Adapter , if you don't mind the $$$$ !
Try GooGle ( Trans Dapt ). If you are set on a C6 trans they may set you right up !
