Fine. Whatever. Dont really care that much. I am not trying to turn my truck into a drag-racer. I just didnt appreciate you telling me to "let it go". I dont have to let anything go. I thought this was a place to ask questions and not have know-it-alls chime in and tell you to drop it.
Umm.... think you need to read up a little bit there budro. Want to learn something read Cory's threads he's made. His truck isn't a drag-racer more then likely it has seen more work in one week then some have had in lifetime. If you seen the actual hours put into his truck and the mods done she is far from stock, reliable, and you could actually learn something. You've got the wrong attitude, BTW that was not a smart comment about looking the thread up you actually used the search function which is great.
Honesty, there is a ton of information on this site - with great additions from folks like Cory - that trumps powerstrokehelp guy. We are not here to be confrontational. But when certain things are not represented well, at least here at FTE, you can be steered to a better conclusion and resolution to your inquiry. Give it a chance.
Wow guys I forgot about this tread. Anyways got all that was mention in first post except exh was Diamond eye. Great exh for cab chasis. Now just need turbo and injector combo and trans upgrade.
Funny story, I bought my truck on the 18th of April. My first diesel. So I know almost nothing about repairs, what to look and listen for etc, but I started google searching everything I could about F350 7.3s.
I came upon powerstrokehelp.com in my first night of Internet search adventures, watched his videos, thought it was good info so he made my bookmark lists. Couple days later I came upon FTE, and a good active forum is invaluable, so it was easy for this site to make my bookmark list.
After a couple days of reading about diesels, learning everything I could I thought I'll buy the powerstroke video for my 7.3 and learn all I can about repairs or what to look for so I don't drive on something serious and make my first mistake an expensive one.
Last night I had the dudes page up, filled out information to buy the 99.00 30 day deal for my truck, was ready to hit submit and go to the payment screen. Then I thought, I have not done my research on this guy. I've watched his videos, some seem really good, the how you buy a Diesel one was almost everything I did and looked at when I bought my truck so I assumed the guy was in the lines with his information. I did a quick forum search for powerstrokehelp.com and, uh oh, ice field ahead.
My question is, so this guys info isn't the greatest and there are a lot more people saying to ignore him then listen to the guy.
What is a good source of info to just watch about everything on the 7.3s? I liked the fact that the guy's media was all in video format, that makes it easy to digest as I work, get me acclimated to owning a diesel.
