I would pull the rearend sensor and clean it with a clean towel see if any thing is stuck on it. tack a 12 mm and 5 min. On top of rear worth a try.

It's probably the sensor because I drive through dirt and mud all day on the jobsite.

Someone said in a previous post about this that it was usually the VSS sensor located on the rear end and that the NAPA replacement is actually better than the factory Ford unit.
