I'm trying to help a friend... any guesses on what his truck might be worth? I don't know as much about the '73-'79 trucks, so please forgive my ignorance if anything is skipped or redundant.

1973 F250, 4WD regular cab. I think its a 360. Very nice condition, painted several years ago. Very nice interior. Has power steering out of 1974 truck. Fitted with an aluminum flatbed that is equipped with an electric hoist to dump the bed. Also has a snow plow.

The owner's father bought this truck new in 1973 and worked it as a pick-up. It was later sold and nearly scrapped when the current owner found it and had it redone to do lite jobs for his construction business. The truck is too nice and too old (slow) to really work though, so it's had very little use since it was redone. It's a great looking truck... metallic green paint, shiny aluminum bed, chrome wheels... but what the heck is it worth?

Some pics would go a really long way in being able to answer this with any degree of accuracy and even then it would only be an educated guess, many factors play into it, is the 360 healthy and strong? is the 4-wheel drive in good working order? etc. etc. it could be worth 1,000 or 10,000 or anywhere in between, based on your description of the truck i'll take a stab in the dark and say it's probably worth some where in the 2,500-4,000 range but you really need to see some pics and have some more detailed info to gauge fair market value.
