Interesting information.

After running two computer programs on hp and torque with using the Edelbrock RPM intake manifold vs the Edelbrock Victor intake manifold, I found that when max porting both manifolds the RPM produces more average torque and average hp through the power band up to 6800 rpm with my setup. Above 7000 rpm, the Victor shines, but I do not plan on going over 7000 rpm.
Soooo,,, I am having the RPM manifold ported to match the stage II heads. I just finished with the short block tonight, and so far, all the clearances are where I want them to be. The Falcon is still at the shop waiting on parts to complete the front suspension change. The rotors, spindles and axle are in and being installed.
Life is good....

Congrads on the parts install progress. I'm looking forward to the picts, also would like to see picts of the old "tired" setup for a comparison. Been considering a early Comet recently but the fab work has me weary, a good look at a generic option vs up to date option would be great for an ice breaker decision.

Jays brown dyno testing also showed that. The rpm intake manifold flows right around 300cfm per runner stock, more than i ever thought. I have the numbers if you want them.

Thanks Matt, but our manifold will be max ported to match the stage II heads, so the stock flow will be lower than our manifold will be. I am sure others would like to see what they flow, so if you post those numbers that would be great.
