Thanks for the compliments.
This is my 2nd truck spraying like this. My first was a bronco, i used cheap flat black 99cent/can paint. I used about 19 cans can it looked like crap within 2 weeks. This paint I used here is about $5/can. So far Ive only used 5 cans. I can finish the truck with only 2 more. This paint blends very well also.
Ladder bars now match the truck, but it looks FORD TUFF covered in mud like I have seen it before. Nice job though, when you getting those 44"s?
44's......
Im buying a house in 3 weeks, so its not gonna be for a while. Even though I would love to get them on today.
Im gonna stick with hawgs though. They have really impressed me and Im happy with them.
You should invest in some sandpaper and a block. Wet sand that paint a little and rub it out. Honest, with a little effort you can not only add some shine, but get rid of some orange peel and you can get a finish that will really take on a different look.
Few coldies and a nice day like the day before Easter, and you will have something that will make people ask if it is reall spray painted.
Been a couple of years, and my rustoleum still shines. Getting a little thin on some parts, but it still shines.
Might need to shoot mine again. Think my paint job ran about 60 bucks a few years ago.
Alright, I'm all done....for now. I finished painting, repainted the doors and panels, and just got done putting on a new Brake booster, master cylider, and left front caliper. I just love how when 1 thing goes they all do.
Anyways, I also took the seats out of my red truck and put them in here. ( I got a set of SVT lighting seats for the red one).
Im very happy with the way it turned out, it feels like a completely different truck. The only thing is the dash now need some attention, but ill save that for another time.
