Weekend Wheeling, Breaks, and new 44 Boggers. Lots of pics...

Got some good pics from this weekend. Got through some pretty nasty mud, Hawgs did pretty good again. I bent both rear leafs, and snapped a U-joint. Nothing to bad, the springs kinda pissed me off, but I'm getting new, stronger ones made, and making some adjustment to my ladder bars to make it more stout.

Sunday when I got home I mounted my 44's. Truck looks pretty good I think, it filled the wheel wells out decent and I still have plenty of room for flexing out.

Monday night, I realized 44's, Alcohol, Pavement and 1st gear does not go together very well. I was trying to be a ******* and wanted to see if I could spin the Boggers like I could the Hawgs. I had a decent buzz goin, put it in 1st gear, popped the clutch and BANG!! There goes my rear yoke. Looks like time for some 1410's huh?? lol.... Anyways let me know what you think of the pics....

Thanks, Its usually ALOT wetter than that. The spot where I was stuck will probably be over my hood come rainy season.

Yeah, those 40's were a little too small. They actually measured 36.5????
The 44's measure out to a little over 42", Which is more reasonable concidering they are about 1/2 worn.

Yes it is, I can understand maybe an inch or two. But for being brand new and 4 inches smaller than it says, not to pleased with that.

hey you should get a rear D shaft off a SD. and the yoke off the rear axle.. thats what i did to mine for some 1410s i picked up a bent shaft for $50 and the axle flange for $25, and the t case yoke and strap kit for around $75. the spicer # for the yoke (if you have a 205) is 3-4-10951-1 , starp kit # 3-70-28x. 205 T/C YOKE 1410 SERIES
i had to retube the shaft for the length i needed. so thats why i got a bent one..

hope that helps you out.. How are the front of those traction bars mounted?

by the way the 44s look better.

44's look much better. You will like how they work, though you will find them hard an parts when you can get it to hook up.

That joint looks as dry as a "popcorn fart". Get some grease in that thing. It experienced a ton of heat there.
