What do you mean by getting internet price lower than dealership?
There is the standard price made as you build a vehicle on the ford site. To receive an internet price, your request will go through a dealership, either one you choose or by the one closest to your zip code.
Who is offering you this price that is 5000k less?
a lot of times the dealers have a 3 or 4 thousand dollar markup on their vehicles. and if theres a rebate on the vehicles its not always posted on the sticker. so when you ask how much they knock the rebate off, plus a little more and you think you are getting bargain, a lot of dealerships have an internet sales man and he will give a perty darn good price to get you to come in. he may or may not have that truck on the lot but when you are there he's got you, so until you see the truck in front of you i'd hold off on cellibrating. i bought mine that way, built what i wanted on the ford site, and got an internet price. the dealer emailed me, i told him through emails what i wanted, he looked around and found my truck in north carolinia and gave me a price. i went to several local dealer and they were about 4500 bucks or higher above his price. i hate to haggle, wish they would just put the darn price on the vehicles instead of arguing how hard things are.
I can concur with jda1961 on a dealer trying to get you in. I had a dealer give me a internet price at "A" plan, employee pricing. When I got in, they kept giving it to me, whent to close the deal and at the last minute they claimed to have made a mistake and stated they couldn't honor what the gave me in writting and verbal. It is bait and switch tactic. They got me into the dealership. So as jda1961 stated, hold off celebrating.
