I read an article somewhere about running a hose from one side of the engine to the other. Said it would help quiet it down. Does anyone know about this and have pictures of it ?
Something about helping getting the oil to the back of the motor for better lube proerties for the injectors, my .2 I'm going to be pulling the wallet on this one soon
The only thing I really noticed was the motor did quieten down alot when I installed mine. Thats about it. A guy at work has the same year and truck as mine,and you can tell a difference in sound from the engine.

it balances the oil PSI between the 2 heads so there both the same..
mine is a rubber hose.you do not need to remove all that stuff to install the line..i was doing a turbo swap at the same time..
Yep -- MEEE TOOOO... Quieted the engine and made it smoother at idle. It no longer jumps around in the engine bay. Here's what mine looks like (Just in front of the turbo & pedestal):
