Standard Options?

Does anyone have any information on the standard options on the 78 model year? I was just curious what came standard on the Lariat model. Thanks.

Besides the Lariat trim:

Map pockets, extra insulation, Tu-Tone paint, upper black tailgate panel, and race track moulding.

Thanks. That's what I was looking for.

I thought it might have come with tilt steering but I guess that was an option.

Lariat is a strictly cosmetic/upholstery upgrade.

EVERYTHING was an option back then.

The Convenience Group was standard on the Ranger XLT in 1973-1977, can't find info about the 1978 or 1979 however to confirm the 1978-1979s. So take that info with a grain of salt.

That's because it was dropped after 1977.

If you want it, you had to order it...even on a Lariat.
