I sent my injectors out to get the Stage 1 rebuild done around 6 months ago. After i got them back and installed them everything was great. Very minimal smoke on startup and no more hesitation and white smoke around 2200 RPM. No I am getting the same symtoms I had before the rebuild, lots of white smoke on startup (even on 60 degree days), and the hesitation around 2200 RPM. What would have caused the O- Rings to blow out again? Or could it be something else? The glow plugs are less than a year old, and the GPR is about 6 months old.... Thanks.
He could have bad cups.
If he had a bad o-ring, and it vibrated around in there long enough.
I'm not sure why It wouldn't do it at first. Or it just took longer to blowby, because the o-ring was not in place.
lubricating will help keep them from drying out too.
I believe it was bad o- rings the first time. I did lubricate them before I put them in, are you supposed to dip the whole injector in oil or just coat the o- rings?

I've seen worn cups on bigger engines but I don't think it's a problem with the 7.3l?
