I think all they are is a resistor that tells the PCM that the temperature is not what it thinks.
Since the V10 runs in closed loop most of the time (even WOT), it'll figure out the mixture is not right with the O2 sensors and adjust anyway. I think.
Contact Mike at 5 star tuning. There is a sticky here (thread at top of forum) with a thread he started about dynoing his '99 V10.
