Diesel West chips

Diesel West is selling power chips on Ebay for less than $70.oo. Has anyone used one of their chips before and what results were obtained.

I have never heard of Diesel West. I did a serch on eBay and couldn't come up with anything. I'd be really leery of a cheap chip from eBay. You could do some serious damage to your engine with a poorly designed chip.

OK, I looked at that and can only ask, where's the beef err chip I mean. Where/how does that rascal hook up? Very sketchy on the details.

It looks like an 18k mod with an adjustable rheostat. It has an on/off switch, and a relay for on/off with the pedal. If I'm right, you can build it for less than $10. There isn't a chip involved, just a resistor.

I looked at that thing too, and I have no idea where it hooks up to. I don't recognize that plug. And the wires from the **** to the plug are pretty short, so it must hook up somewhere under the dash. Personally, I'd stay away from it. Like Joe said, you can build a mod much cheaper than that.
