Replacing dash instrument cluster light bulbs??
2001 Expy any tips or part numbers on how to replace instrument cluster light bulbs ?? Most are on but about 0 - 3000 rpm on the tach are out. Thanks for all replies!!!

Not sure of the bulb number. When I replace some of my bulbs I do remember that twisting out the bulb holders was something you had to be careful with. In theory they're supposed to just twist left 1/4 turn. The problem I had was the 2 tiny plastic clips that hold it from turning didn't want to let go. If you forcibly twist them you might break them. I use a utility knife blade to lift them a bit before twisting the bulb holder out.

Removing the headlight switch is the worse part. Once that switch is out, I can have my cluster in my hands in less than 10 minutes. Just be careful pulling off the plastic dash trim ring or it will crack. I use a putty knife and slip it behind the trim ring to work it loose. There's only 4 torx head screws holding the cluster in once the trim ring is off.
