steering column
Hi has anybody ever tried to put a 1980 steering column in a 79? It looks the same besides the key location. Thanks for any help

yeah, its been done i think you have to rewire tho

You can put almost any steering column in these trucks. I saw one guy who had a Cadillac steering column. I'm swapping to a '69 F100 column with the chrome horn ring.

why not just swap the wheel?

1: I don't have a wheel puller
2: The '69 column is in better condition than my column (it's from a truck with only 36,000)
