Cause for concern?

I was using a big hammer to knock the ower ball joint stud out of the knuckle and accidentally hit the outer tie rod end and pinched a small hole in its rubber boot. I had just finished putting that tie rod in ten minutes before. I felt like an idiot! Anyway, A very thin stream of grease slowly snaked its way out of the boot. Is this going to give me problems down the road? Can tie rod boots be replaced? It was a Moog tie rod.

I used the press to press the ball joint in and out. I was only using the hammer to try to seperate the ball joint stud from the knuckle prior to pressing the ball joint out (I was too lazy to go back into the garage to get my pickle fork which I ended up having to do anyway).

Thanks for the Permatex idea, I will give it a try.
