CCV o-ring question

Doin the CCV mod, pulled it off and was turning it around but the o-rings do not look right at all.

This is w/o the o-ring

With the o-ring

Shouldnt it fit in the groove? or is it supposed to be bigger? I would rather go get the right ones than have to take it apart again to redo it at a later date. Anyone know if those are right?

You can get them at ford or go to a hardware store and any oil resistant O-Ring that fits will work. Harbor Freight sells a whole selection box for what you would probably pay at Ford (or close to it)

Those ones are done. Get some new ones from the hardware store (sorry can't recall the size right now) or order them here.

Yes they are swollen. Who ever design the o-rings decided they didn't need to be oil resistant! Regular round o-rings from the hard ware store are the way to go.

Well I got new o-rings from NAPA. I don't think they are oil resistant but they fit nice and snug, at least they will work for awhile. Got it all done and buttoned up and it dumps after the rear axle. I am going to copy guzzle's canister once I get some free time. Thanks guys!
