Always bright overhead display?

Always bright overhead display?
In the tech folder I found the instructions to have the overhead display bright at all times. Found the connector and wire BUT how 
do you remove the wire/terminal from the connector? Don't want to break it so I thought I ask first. Thanks for any help guys.
