I'm interested in this as well- I'm finding the tire selection overwhelming and don't really know where to start. I also have a F250 HD currently with worn 265/65/16 and can't decide if I should go back to stock 235/75/16 or go with the current wider tire. Similar to the original poster- looking at AT. Some snow driving, off road around the farm in the fields and on gravel (no real off roading, no mudding) but mostly on dry pavement back and forth to town, rare towing if ever. I'll follow along with interest.
Hey I have a 94 F250, and I am currently running 285/75/R16 FireStone Destinations. I drive upstate to school 370 miles, around 75 mph, and they have absolutely no road noise. And being upstate we get hit with the snow pretty bad, and these tires were pretty awesome, I have 4wd, so that helps too, but still they have awesome traction in the snow, and great traction in the rain. I have say 10,000 miles on them now, and they still look brand new. I know FireStone had a lot of problems in the past, but I think they got it all under control now, and are making an awesome tire. My brother is about to purchase a set of tires for his truck, and he too is going with the destinations.
