Ok so i've been looking for a supercrew loaded platinum... CANT choose a color, I love black but how would it look 7 years down the road? ect.. any pics? Also any color I get i want a darker interior..
you can get the darker interior for any Platinum (black with brown leather seats).
Black is a PITA to keep care of and shows alot of swirls and other marks. Just take a look at some cars on the road that you know are older and are black.

ya that's true... what colors look the nicest..? any pictures i really love black but am scared of how it will look down the road as I will keep the truck till it dies! white looks awesome but i don't know...?
Will the black look bad in 5-7 years? with the weekely car wash? and maybe once a year wax....?
Even a good wax needs to be redone at least every 3 months. I do mine every 2 months and it just about lasts with 2 washes a week. Now the white sand will be 10x easier than the black. I don't think i have ever seen a black vehicle without swirls. A good wax will cover the swirls for the first couple of washes but they soon show back up. But if you can be bothered with the up keep to keep the black nice then it's a nice color.
I've owned one black truck, man they look good brand new, but one winter up here in Toronto & sheet man! Every swirl, scratch, nick, door ding, you name it shows up.
A light colour is the way to go, but I read that Silver is actually the worst for fading, that was an article by Dupont
I struggled with the same issue and selected Sterling Grey. It provides the metallic I wanted in silver, the darker feel of black but without the hassle.
This weekend I gave the truck a wash and wax and was truly thankful I didn't get black. Holy crap there's a lot of sheet metal on these trucks! I was wiped out when finished.
