I was told that the bars for 2009 are different than other years. The cost was not more just the design of the mounting hardware. I got mine off of Ebay for a fair price but had to wait till the 2009 model came in about 2 weeks. Chris

The 5" Ford Oval ones I saw look identical to the ones on my 08, but they may have shifted the mounting brackets. I didn't measure them. As far as the look goes, they are identical and I like them.
I wasn't sure if they were the same or not. they didn't change the look of them, which I think is a good thing. I don't know how you could really make them look any better. I wish I could afford a set of the power ones though...those are sweet.
