Nice job. It's good to save money where it doesn't really show anyway. Unless you are rich, its better to spend the money on brand new trim and other high vis items later on in the build.

but...not yet...35* and 2" of "fresh" slush on the ground......

Thanks for the pic.

I plan to have a go at making my own but don't have enough left for a good pattern.
It doesn't look like any of the dimensions would be very critical except the thickness where it sits on the cab mount.

I didn't have anything left for a pattern either. Cab mount dementions: 7L x 3 1/8 W x 1 1/4 H . The overall width with flange is 4 3/4. Hope that helps. Good luck making that part and post a pic when you get done.

Is the 1 1/4H the center area where it would set on the rubber pad?
Also 7L can't be overall length. Is that just the flat center area also?

Yes, those are just the center area dimentions. Overall length is 19 3/4. That's for the RH side (passenger) .
