idle, but no throttle
I have a 2004 F250 6.0, It will crank up and idle fine, but will not run after being throttled. usally cuts off at 1000rpms. It did this one time before and seemed to resolve itself, but not this time. Has anyone ever heard of this before??

I had a similar problem with my '04 F350. Pulled it back to my house and did not get a chance to work on it until the next day. It worked fine then. I had bought the truck used and could find no records of the fuel filters being changed. I changed the filters and have not had a problem since then. I am not sure if this was the issue but after visiting with several gurus I have been informed that the filters need change every 15000 miles. Hopefully your problem will be as simple to fix as this.

It might be the electrical plug connection at your accelerator pedal, wiggle the connector and make sure it's tight. If this doesn't do it then you might have a bad pedal switch that needs to be replaced.
