Leather off steering wheel

I know the topics been discussed before, I did a search and couldnt find the thread I remember reading about.

Has anyone ever had their wheel re-wrapped?
My leather is off and I really want to get it fixed, or is it just cheaper/easier to find a new wheel on ebay?

Are you suppose to remove the stock leather or wrap over it?

My wheel is missing the leather on top, but the bottom its still there.
Do I take off all the stock wrapping or do these go over it?

On my 95 I went over the stock leather and that was a bad idea. I didn't fit right. Remove the leather but you might want to consider leaving the leather that is on the "wings" that attach the wheel to the center.

Just goes over whatever is there. Then you stitch it up with the provided needle and thread. Easier with two people. About 45 minutes start to finish.
