I have a scar around my right calf from my 1st thru 4th grade teacher (One room school) ... ms. Lucy Poole, She had an old hairy manila rope with a knot at each end that she always had wrapped around her waist like a belt.
Up with the pants down with the socks!
Dang that thing hurt!
I spanked my own blood daughter (on the butt, with my hand) one day for back talking her mom, Next thing I know I was getting cuffed and stuffed!
At school the next day she told her teacher she couldn't sit because I spanked her!
I blame this lack of discipline for the troubles children are in today, there is no discipline or respect taught any more.
I was taught to respect my elders and officers of the law, Open doors for the ladies, Yes Sir, No Sir, Yes Mam, No Mam, etc... etc...
Now I'm an elder, I get no respect from kids and I have NO RESPECT for Law dogs!
You say Yes Mam to a lady and you get slapped or in my case sued, You open a door for them and they think you're trying to pick um up!
It's insane!
