Rudedoggii,
It looks good, great job working out of a little garage, the American way. Only thing I can suggest is take a little more time welding on longer pieces of metal where there is a greater chance of warping, tack all sides, weld one, let it cool, come back weld another side, etc....
I love the eye roll after the dog comment on the video!
rudedogii, nice bumper man. Would love to see it again when you have the gas cans added.
Also, you might want to consider a simple lock on the latch mechanism to keep a low life scum thief from swinging the carrier out and accessing the rear (if you don't already have it and I missed that in the video).
nice set up. i have a idea that might help. yor trailer hitch lock can be put in through the back side and weld it in place this way you can lock it from the other side with just one hand. now make a jig and start selling them.
So AntiBling, are you interested in fabricating a bumper in the design that I proposed? If so, can you estimate a cost for front and rear bumpers?
It may be a year or so before I have my shop equipment available again (it's currently in storage on the other coast), but when it's back up and running, I'll likely start working on something similar to what you're interested in. I'll keep you posted when it gets closer to that time.
(I had the same feelings about the amazingly expensive and still "not what I'm looking for" bumpers available... and I like the idea of making something myself. I'm biased though, since I've already got experience with building more complex shapes.)

Well, I hate to hear that you've temporarily put fabricating on the back burner. I do believe that there is a market for more simplistic and reasonably priced heavy duty bumpers. Keep us updated and best success!

We are building one for my buddy, when we get done I'll post pictures, it still will have a tube frame but will be filled in and be a bit bulkier. I'm not a fan of the bulky style but he is, so it's good we both got separate tastes.
If you like his we can figure out what to charge for it and build the third one we got plates for if you want to buy it.
As far as the ARB style bumpers, we don't have a press big enough to bend plate, not to mention it'd be more time consuming for us to cut it out or more expensive to get it lasered. The plates we had lasered out were pretty straight forward that when had them cut that's what we needed straight from the laser. If we had to figure out what shapes we needed for those bumpers, then had them bent, I'm sure we'd have figured wrong. We don't have the money to be wrong.
