If I was to do it there would be a CR in mine 12Vs have set HP CRs are adjustablel.
From everything I've read, the CR motor is THE way to go.
EDIT: A "sort of" OT question. Anyone know what an 05 Cummins will do tuned with an Edge? A buddy of mine was talking chit and I REALLY don't want to lose. I guess I should wait until after I get injectors -- but how close will I be at about 320 RWHP/~700 tq?

It'll murder you.

So........ What kind of numbers are we talking? "Murder" isn't what I was looking for. I can "murder" a stocker, so I want to know what an Edge does for an '05....
The nice part about the 12v is that its pretty much a mechanical diesel.... no cps, very few electronic gremlins, emergency shut down lever on the fuel pump, pretty much able to survive a nuclear electromagnetic pulse without damage..... where the comonrail has much more complex electronics.
Joe leave it a lone I know from experience. But he did also have other stuff other than a chip. My boy likes to pick on me!! Thats one reason I am going with bigger SS injectors,Turbo, and any thing else I can get but it still may not beat him and if it does he will upgrade some thing to get me back. OH well its still fun.

See, that's the beauty of it. I've got the basics, and now I have a turbo too. Just need the fuel to drive it. Like Metallica says: "Gimme fuel, gimme fire, gimme that which I desire!!!"
This guy is actually a good buddy of mine. But he's been giving me chit about my Fords forever. He had a late 90s CTD, then got an '02. But he wrecked it (which I just found out about). Now he's got the '05, and I was only ready for his '02. But maybe I can take him once I get the sticks. I'm not going past that, so if I can't, so be it. That would be a helluva bonus though...
Besides that, I just want to hang with my other buddy's '05 6.0 with a BD TripleDog, 5" exhaust, and Airaid intake. As long as I can hang with those dudes, I'll be happy. Beating the CTD guy would REALLY be nice, but I just don't know enough about what the '05 will do with an Edge. I know they bumped the tourque that year to 610 ft-lbs or something like that (at the flywheel), so I'm sure with the Edge, he's around 700 at least. I think I have a good shot at him with 400HP on the ground. What do y'all think? Right now, I'm at close to 700 ft-lbs. on the ground. Need to dyno again before the sticks to see for sure.
