Kris, yours is bad-friggin'-***. Re-animated zombie or not. You did what I would do if I had A) The time and B) Enough money. Maybe one day, but for now, I'm going to milk mine to that 399.99HP mark and leave it.
As I said I already have single shots a DP tuner with the other small things and he can get me by just a little. He is auto and I am 6 speed plus I am dually and spinning the crap out of my old tires and he has a new $1350.00 set of tires. I am getting a set of new hybrids and a turbo upgrade and a set of tires so I can play a little harder.
Joe I say go for it. I think you can give him a good run.

Well chit, that right there is enough. The autos are faster than the hand-shakers! What injectors do you have?
It could be that I am spinning more I dont think its a auto vs striaght thing? Traction could be a lot of help for him. But I have drove his truck myself and its fast but I still like mine best. I have the swamps 176/146 SS they are very nice injectors. But PMS hit me so I am going bigger.

Traction is a biggy of course. I am worried about that since I have a 2WD. I was thinking about the 176/146s, but when I found out they "only" put you around 360 RWHP, I changed my mind. If I'm spending the $$$, I want to be closer to 400. I'll probably go with these instead: http://www.totaldieselperformance.co...=7.3L_Stage_II
Yea I like those also I spent that on the 176/146 but they did give me a nice boost in HP I am not sure if thoes from TDP will give you what you think 120HP. But I started with these and sticking with swamps getting a upgrade to the hybirds 200/30% I will be at or over 400 HP thats about all I will go for now I still have to use this old truck for pulling loads some time.

These is a good price if this is what you want. And want to add big oil.
7.3L 1994-2003
Freshly Rebuilt, New O-rings, no miles
Stage III Single Shot Injectors 230cc
These are Stroked A codes and NOT a Hybrid, an upgraded High Pressure Oil System is important to run these injectors.
ok wow this got way off topic :P reason for going 12 valve, 1500$ Canadian for whole truck, 2nd is my ol man has a 98 12 valve has 820000km on it and it runs fine! so beat that CR 3rd to do a rebuild of a 12 valve vs CR 12 is cheaper form what ive priced out, so i believe im doing a cross over due to the fact my 7.3 is 408000 starting to have problems, leaking and what not, why not sell it for some money while i can i though, and as a heavy duty apprentice, this is a great experience. has anyone done the cross over? i have 1 guy in my town but i have yet to contact him.
thanks
dan
Back on topic, if you really want to do the conversion to the 12V, do it! Jtharvey put a CR in his, and you can find a lot of info here: DESTROKED: Cummins Conversions
