i have a 92 E-350 i put a new starter in 2 weeks ago. then all the sudden i was turning it over then it just clicks????? i replaced the selanoid on the fender and put new ends on the batt. ANY HELP PLEASE

Check the lug that connects to the starter.
They tend to corrode down there and it gets up inside the wire.

and the ground wire-it can give ya major blues -my buddy got a 91 f150 been chasing a charging problem for over 2 years now -it was the ground wire! green and corroded -replaced it and it's like a new truck!

black spade terminal on the starter.

it gets corroded.

clean the connection.

New or rebuilt? Never mind, either one could be defective.. If you don't see anything on the cables, I would be tempted to get the starter off and have it bench tested..

New does not always mean perfect!!!!!!
