Well Lee (2Fords) just left the house. We did get the new oil pump in Ka'Bluey. Didn't gain a thing, but it does have a new oil pump.
Engine swap party at Richard's when he gets home. Have the other engine that is going in Ka'Bluey...
Y'all are envited.
Bob
Lee thanks again for making it out. We sure did try.

Hey Bob, no problem coming over to help, I'm just sorry that after all that work, it wasn't the problem after all. Really bummed me out. Oh well, I'll be there for the great engine swap.
Oh by the way, my pc seems to be working properly, I guess maybe I didn't catch that nasty conficker virus after all.

All right a "Mini" FTE G2G enging swap party, and if you let me blindfold you all I will take you to my secret Ford truck junkyard haha. Ches you are on beer opening duty and tool bitch haha, just joking.
All welcome, remember to ck craigslist for any St Louis stuff you all need, I am going up there to pick up some factory ford bed rails and some old Ford truck repair manuals, and probably some tires and a factory bumper and........ week of 20-24 April?
Might put ol Red in the next bay and do the Dana 60 swap?? Unk Bob, Tim is coming up to right, Ches GF and kids are invited to. 2fords you and GF? welcome also.

Rich I wouldn't take you're first weekend home away from you. The second weekend 25th would be fine if I don't snap and just rent a cherry picker.
You know Tim will be there. I can't even start Ka'Bluey up without my tag-along. Tell you the absolute truth, that truck still runs strong as ever, dosen't smoke a puff, starts right up. Just won't hold oil pressure. A cold engine is 45-50 pounds. But withen 4/5 minutes it's just enough pressure to move the neelde off of 0 lbs.
You can excellerate the engine and get it up to 15 lbs or so. But it's strong as an ox.

Thanks I dought Penny would let that happen anyway, haha. My grey 77 is the same way, middle of the factory gauge when cold. After a bit when ideling it will drop to 1/4 gauge, but increase with RPM, I am just gonna drive it and leave it at that.
What ever you decide, just let me know if I can help out in any way, can't blame you wanting to get it changed sooner. Looks like I will have to pull Red's dizzy and intake manifold again to fix that leak.
Then look at the front axle swap? And build the flat bed and the incab rollbar and....... Unk Bob any luck looking on the "355 Series" forum, might find some good suggestions in there for your oil pressure problem?

335 series
Yes I did spend a day or so in the 335 chapter. And for the most part it sounds like 'It's the nature of teh beast" some even figured 10 psi for every 100 rpm, and it's doing about that. And like I said it runs like a stripped a$$ ap3. No different then when we brought it out to you're place.
But the oil pressure in that other motor is looking pretty good. If I can get it swapped, then put Ka'Bluey's motor on the stand in the garage and just go through it. All bearings, new RV cam and lifters, the heads are fresh, changed them when we bought the truck. Maybe go 0.30 over and call it good.
