Angry

If you can navigate the internet freely except sites owned by microsoft or antivirus vendors such as Symantec, Mc afee or f- secure you most likely DO have the "CONFLICKER" or similar bug. This worm blocks your computer from beoing able to install the microsolf updates. I say yea you have it.

It works fine for me. You should stay off the adult sites and your puter would not catch STDs.

If all you lost is microsoft you may have actually gained. Why not wipe all microsoft products off and start out with a fresh install of Linux?

Hahahaha.......I have been thinking of "browsers powered by penguins" but don't have any Linux games to replace my PC ones.

But yeah, you might have a malware ...if not Conflicker.... keeping you away. There are quite a few other viruses, worms that keep you from going to or using online Security sites.
