Mile Marker Hubs Installed

Finally got the hubs and installed them today.... problem is, the transfer case does not want to engage now. I didn't have time to block off the vacuum lines to the hubs, could that be why the transfer case motor won't engage? Is there a signal that the transfer case motor needs from the vacuum system to engage. I had the motor changed out last year but it is possible that it is again not working.

Any help in trying to figure this out would be appreciated. I have the truck booked at the shop that replaced the motor last year to see if it needs replaced under warranty.

Thanx...

I don't think the vacuum line would cause a problem, I ran mine a few days after replacing the hubs befor I capped off the lines and it still engaged and dis-engaged int 4X4 like normal. Hopefully someone else can help shed some light on this!

The transfer case switching is not dependent on vacuum. It is strictly electronic. Bad switch, I bet....

I was thinking there was some sort of method that the 4x4 light would stay on when in 2wd so and it would tell you if you had a bad switch or motor I'm not sure but I think somone metioned it before on here?? Testing the switch should be easy if you just unclip it at the motor and test it. If there is a problem there just work your way back till you find it if not might be the motor? Good luck!
