Harmonic Balancer - 292

Getting ready to put my new 292 together, and my old harmonic balancer is what I would call "suspect" - I think it slipped a little. I found a new one from Green Sales, but it is the 2-belt type, and mine is a 1 belt type (on my F-100). Does anyone know if I can use the 2-belt type in place of the 1-belt type?

I don't want to risk a timing error on my new engine cause the balancer is off.

You dont want the type of pulley setup used on 239s. They were not balancers/dampers, but solid. Dampers are rebuilt by Damper Doc for around $150. New reproductions are offered on ebay.

This is the link of one of three that they offer.

This one should be for yours it has the weight ring in the back and is a single groove. Its for 56 - 64. Code is ECG-D1
