Hey everyone, and good evening. I am looking for a source to purchase the little threaded connectors that attach the tranny cooling lines to the radiator.
I purchased a new radiator awhile back from Autozone(probably my first mistake) and the fittings were female thread, needing a male threaded head on the cooler lines. My cooler lines have female thread, and I cannot find the proper fittings anywhere, even at the dealer. I have a connection rigged up with air hose connectors, fuel line and hose clamp right now, but would like to do it up right. Any suggestions? Thank you kindly.
thats kinda one of those things that may be to "techinical" for any of the sponsors around here to carry,,you may try dennis carpenter they have an online catalog as well as lmc or bronco graveyard,,or the good old local junkyard
If you still have the old radiator you can take the fittings from it. Otherwise they should be 1/8" male pipe to thread into the rad, by -4 male compression for the lines. You should be able to get them from a mom 'n pop auto parts store or a hydraullic supply house.
