Disabling anti-theft on a 2002 E150

Sorry, cross-posting from the van forum here, but does anyone know of a way to disable the anti-theft/alarm system on a 2002 E150? Fuses to pull, or connectors to pull, or tricks with the ignition switch?

This is just a temporary thing while the vehicle is shipped overseas -- a shippers requirement.

I'm hoping that something that works on the F-series might apply to E also.

Aftermarket remote start systems use a spare key for the vehicle placed in close proximity to the ignition switch to work. The key is placed under the lower steering column cover and secured in place. This might work for your purposes. Good luck!
