Lay off

Well, effective this morning, your chapter leader has some free time on his hands.

The good news is that it's not a complete lay off. They are reducing my work hours by 28%. Essentially, I'll have four days off every three weeks.

Kinda makes it difficult to find "fill in" work tho.

Anybody know anyone in greater KC that needs help?

On the other hand, I've spent yesterday and today trading stocks online.

I've turned $520 into $1,175 thus far.

Who needs a job?

Hang in there, at least you got a job IN the US of A. I gotta work over here in a
sh.... ole of a country, waiting to get rocketed or mortered or sniped, all the time,
live in a 8X20 conex (sealand container) with a roommate.

6 days a week, 8, 10, 12 hrs a day, no overtime. Drinking is against the rules hahaha, not to mention getting shot at when flying missions and do not get to work on my FORD trucks, but every 90 days.

Just trying to cheer you up a bit, there Terry. Take some of that stock money, buy a 79 Ford 4x4, wrench on it and drive it down to the spring meet.

Nice to see you are alive and well, and still kicking. Are you coming down to the FTE G2G? We gotta have our Chapter Leader there.

Generally, I make wire and cable.

At the moment, my current employer has "called me in" on four of my six lay off days...so I dunno which end is up right now...
