pretty clean interior
strait body has one bigger dent and a few smaller hardly noticable dents

The shaking may be unbalanced or poorly balanced tires, shaking motor at idle is normal unless it is physically shaking the truck then it may be a motor mount or poorly tuned carb, oil leaks are normal, dirty carpet may be cleaned with vac or just removed and changed to the truck bed lining paint. Are you sure it is a windsor, the 79s came with a 351M/400 which look different from the windsor (personally i think are okay motors for 70s engines). Good deal, If it was me I would prefer the 79, but either way you have work ahead of you to get both trucks in a comfortable driving state.

I agree. Either way, you have some work ahead of you. It sounds like both are in need of a little love and care. The 300 straight six in the 90 is going to get you better gas mileage and are nice engines, but the 78 Bronco is highly sought after.

I would say that if you had owned the 90 for a while, knew it and relied on it, that would be one thing, but you just got it.

Pick which one you want to fix up and decide on what you'd use it for. If you're looking for something for the highway and know you need a bed, definitely keep the 90. The EFI 300 is much more highway friendly. If you're an off-roader, and like camping, exploring, etc, or just use it to tool around town, the Bronco for sure.

If it were me, I'd go with the '78 without thinking twice.
