Are lifters from 70's ford v8 motors the same?

new and looking for advice
Hey yall new to this site. also pretty new to these engines. my problem is i bent a pushrod and "lost" a lifter (is now flat and sitting about 3/4 of an inch below the other 15. i will be tearing it down this weekend. but wanted to see if any of you had any advice before hand. also what do i look for in new lifters?? are there a few to choose from? any feedback is welcome thanks. 1976 Ford F250 highboy 390 FE

I can't help on your problem but i can give some advice . Not to offend you but it's better to start your own new thread instead of jumping on the tail end of somebodys 6 year old thread, i believe you will get a faster response .
