I put a compustar P2w900fm on my superduty. I went to school before I did this one and I took 3 evenings to remove the Ford codealarm and replace it with the compustar. My first venture in to doing these was a simple viper and I never wanted to do another. After learning what to do, it's much easier.
I didn't look up the system, but the idea is simple. You have grounded switches for the doors and if you want to go direct to them, you need a bunch of diodes, probably 10 (2 for each side door and then trigger off one rear door.) Going to the dome light is much easier. Run a new power wire from the battery with a fuse holder to it. run the siren wires out. Connect to the horn and parking lights.
If your doing RS as well, which you might as well do, there are a few more wires to connect. It's not to bad if you are handy with a multimeter and general electronics you can do it, just take your time.
I had a system put in my truck last fall and unless you're just electrically savvy, this is definately something you need to have someone at Cartoys or Best Buy install. A good buddy installed mine and I watched him do the whole thing; I'm a mechanically inclined person and willing to try anything new, but what took him hours, would have taken me days.
