Where does this mindset come from? I just do not get it. How can I drink and drive and not get caught? If a person has to even ask that they know they are wanting to do it and nothing we can say will stop them. Cry for help? maybe. But I doubt it. More like a spoiled brat who just wants us to know what he is doing and challenge him on it. no matter what I say Loser with a cap L

I am very passionate about drinking and driving (I mean PREVENTING it).
People like this do not believe they are doing anything wrong. They think they are the exception to the rule and do not believe they are putting other people's lives at risk.
That being said, I think what you have on that other thread is a person trying to get a rise out of everyone. Provocation, as one member put it so nicely.

I have been labeled a "party pooper" and "too serious" because of the way I feel about all of this. So, my views I guess are at the extreme end of the spectrum.
