Hitch receiver lighting

Have any of you tried the hitch mount lighting on your Super Duty (pic below).

I was thinking about getting one but wanted to know if anyone recommended a specific brand, model, etc....as well as any general comments you had about the setup.

Thanks

do you have to leave your ball mount in while this light is attached?

From what I can tell, there are several different models, depending on the size of receiver. I'm pretty sure that it mounts directly to the receiver, so you can remove/change hitch ***** as needed.

I'm not sure what the price of that set up is, but my truck has two 2x4 rectangle utility lights mounted on each side of the receiver and are wired into the reverse lights, and also a rocker switch on the dash where the adj pedal switch is supposed to go since I dont have adj pedals, works great.

Yea I know, they were on the truck when I got it, i'm going to do something different after I get all the stuff done with pulling my motor next weekend. I'm thinking of making a housing out of aluminum at work and recessing some different lights in it.

Once I get rollin' in money, I was planning on getting some simple rectangular lights and wiring them into the reverse lights as well as by themselves. I've seen somebody with a HDSD that looked really nice with them.
