When to turn OD off?
I'm going to be towing a 5x8 uhaul trailer loaded with my belongings from Southwestern Colorado to Seattle, Washington. I'll also have a 500 lb ATV in the bed and the cab loaded up. I've got a '01 S'crew with the 5.4 V8, Airaid intake and Poweraid throttle body spacer. Do I turn the OD off and leave it off while towing? Or do I just turn it off in hilly country? Leaving Tuesday and looking for some quick advice. Thanks.

When to turn OD off?
Turn it off if the transmission is shifting frequently in and out of overdrive. Also turn it off if you need more engine braking going downhill. Other than that leave it in overdrive.
