EEC Part Number
Does any one have the Original Ford part number for an EEC for an 88 F250 SC 4WD over 8,500 GVW (HD) 5.8, C6 trans.
Need to varify the correct number since the parts store can't seem to get it right.

Catalog Search by Product
Select Electronic Products and Engine Control Computers.
Fill in the blanks 88 Ford Truck F250 351 etc...
It will display the part numbers for the different Computers.
Then on the right side click on the Cardone part number that matches what you want.
A new page will be displayed. On that page, scroll down to the very bottom of the page and click on Detailed Applications. Scroll down further and a list of the vehicles that used that Computer will be displayed.

By using the cross referance they provided it confirmed the box I brorrowed from my E-350 with the 7.5 would work. It worked basicly perfect which is way better than any of the Re-man units from the parts store.
The parts place never did get it right, the last one I tried the CEL would not even come on let alone start. I took the refund and am leaving well enough alone, at least until I drop the 7.5 into the truck...
