Electronic ignition 63 F100

What all do I need to change from points to electronic ignition on a 63 F100 with a 223 strait 6?

That question is too broad to answer. Pick an ignition conversion and follow the instructions. Instructions are usually available on the manufacturers website. Take a look at that to see what you are getting into before you buy it.

Installed the Duraspark ll in both 65's; having said that, as charliemccraney mentions, there are a number of configurations and brands, not to mention one can mix and match a variety of components to come up with Electronic Ignition that fits their application.

Not familiar with Pertronix Electronic Ignition but understand it's as basic as it gets; a matter of removing the points and installing Electronic Ignition components in the existing distributor included in the kit, then throw in an ignition coil and one's set? The majority of the comment I read have been favorable, perhaps members more familiar with the kit will chime in?

I've had great luck with Pertronix in my antique tractors. Their technical support support is great also. The only time I had a problem, it turned out to be my own fault....They walked me right through it and I didn't even cause any harm.

I went with pertronix as well including the coil. Starts right up and feels soo much better and more importantly no more points to mess with. This is the easiest solution I think, give it a try.
