Points or electronic ignition?

Just wanted some thoughts on the advantage of having points than electronic ignition or would a electronic ignition be better?

Points or electronic ignition?

With a points ignition, if something goes wrong, it can usually be fixed for a few bucks and they're simple. With electronic, no adjustments will ever have to be made, but if something goes wrong, parts are more expensive and somewhat harder to diagnose. I got tired of monthly point adjustments and went to electronic ignition.

The E-tronics dont fail often enough to be a worry, and the trouble shooting is written plain enough to make it easy for your wife to do.
The big deal is quick starting in the Cold winter with the E-tron's. I think the plugs last longer too. No wear and tear and all that.
Evrything wear's in the Kettering ignitions, you get a new degree angle every day.
